Stay N Play Pet Ranch is proud to be a part of the Austin Pets Alive program that provides services for people in transitory times of serious need, so they are not forced to relinquish their pets. As part of their Emergency Boarders Network, we were recently able to help a woman who suddenly found herself homeless and living in her car with her two dogs, Bo and Clown. Austin Pets Alive called us and asked if we could keep the two Bichon/Poodle mixes as dogs were not allowed in the women's shelter. As part of the program, we promise 30 days of free dog boarding, but we ended up keeping the dogs for 8 weeks while their mom found a place to live, found a new job (she lost hers when she had to start living in her car), and got her life back on track. We recently received the most heartfelt and moving "thank you" from Bo and Clown's mom, one that left us all in tears and thankful we have the opportunity to help through this generous program.

Bo and Clown lived with us while their mom got back on her feet
thanks to an amazing Austin Pets Alive program.

Dog Day Afternoon in Austin at the Triangle Courtyard on Guadalupe is almost here! Fun event on Saturday, April 14, for dogs and owners presented by News Radio KLBJ and Austin Subaru. Stay N Play will be there doing free canine massages and Canine Touch demos from Noon - 3pm. Mark your calendar and get the details by clicking here.

We have signed on again as a sponsor for the RED Arena event in Dripping Springs on Saturday, June 2, at 1601 Bell Springs Rd. We will host another booth, where we will do training your dog type of activities (a favorite at the event last year!).
